Brad Bought A Building: A One Woman Comedy Special
Brad Bought a Building is a creative piece coming directly from the brain of Carly Schirber. A mix of stand up, sketch comedy, and pre-taped content, BBAB hits every comedic mark imaginable.
My role was to help bring the vision to life, designing the look feel of the show, animating a full comedic sketch and editing audio, and editing a title slide for another pretaped sketch Good Joey Eating.

Poster and Programs
While this isn't Carly's first sold out run at the Den Theater, it was her first solo show. This made it important to keep carly's likeness at the center of whatever design we created together. As an up and coming comedian, it was important to make sure people remembered her name and continue to buzz surrounding her work.
Custom hand lettering allowed typeography to feel integrated into the design, as opposed to placed on.
Additional sizes were created to live places like the ticketing page of the Den's website, as well as programs, flyers, and the social announcement.

Good Joey Eating Title Animation
Good Joey Eating was one of two pre-taped sketches in the show. The piece follows competitive eater Joey Chestnut, as he has a difficult conversation with this therapist.
This spoof of Good Will Hunting deserved an homage to the original piece in the design and feel, while making it our own.

The Animation
This titular piece is a 4 minute animation created based on a real interaction Carly witnessed at the art institute one day. Our hope was to create a full, living piece that tied into the poster design, while still having a distinct personality of its own.
Utilizing a similar, restricted color palate to the poster, as well as a nod to the show poster itself, this piece was a labor of love. Featuring photography, concepting, design, animation, and custom hand lettering by Chana.
