Make it with Martell
Event Series
Make it with Martell is a pop up series by the infamous cognac brand, encouraging folx to defy classic cocktails, remixing them to make a shockingly smooth cocktails like never before. Starting at Native in Harlem, with additional events in Houston and Atlanta, the series turned into a permanent program for Martell. In expansion
of the series, a collaboration with artist Davido came to life, with an afro beats integration.
With custom fabrication of a mobile bar cart, to a roulette style drink wheel, to custom trade wearables and exclusive interactive moments.
This project was a focus in design, as well as conceptual expansion of MIWM (Make it with Martell).

Turntable Slip Mat
With the afrobeats integration, we concepted music inspired gifting. Integration with vinyl felt only right, and so zoetrope design came to life. The slipmat tie in combines the brand and its music focus with the event. When the slip mat spins, Martells brand icon the swift takes flight.
Interactive Tablet
We created a custom, personality inspired test for each cocktail defying the classics. We used various BPMs to find guests their perfect rhythmic match.
Trade Uniforms
Trade is enveloped in blue for the night with custom chore coats, messaging on the back rallying bar goers to free the classics and remix their cocktails.
A scalable version of the neon sign from the original event, working for day or night, brunch or happy hour.
Custom fabricated cart was created to match the vision of Martell, this render was the guiding light for fabricators.
Projection Mapping was a must-do photo opp. Using the Martell Swift brand pattern to envelop event-goers, we defied classic photo opps and created a shockingly smooth photo moment.
